i haven't run into this issue with my kids yet, but I just have to say that picture makes her look *WAY* older than she actually is. Or....is it just because she is growing up too fast?
poor girl! but good mommy. I had an aunt who would give both kids presents on each birthday and no they didn't share the same one. She just had this idea that to be fair it had to be perfectly equal. It just caused more problems down the road.
so anyway, there are good things about learning to be happy for someone when you want what they have. Learning about jealousy. learning about sharing. It's good to start early because those are tough concepts.

hee hee! we have totally been having that at our house lately too! the crying, the whining...oh brother! and it was the big brother doing it!
